By redisigning the traditional "Connecticut" clock, I came up with a main block (with the large triangles), an alternate block (with plaids and dots) and side and corner setting pieces 0 eliminating many seams. The fabrics are by Elin Noble and (the border) by Michael James.

I saw this simple 9-patch and thought it would look cute with teddy bears. Luckily I knew a quilter who had this feature! Now I wait until I have grandchildren.

I made this quilt for Nitai, the nurse who helped us, my husband and me, through his passing and after. I had promised my husband that I would make her a quilt.

This was a class offered through Sugar Pine Quilt Shop. Francis O'Brien taught me a lot about paper piecing.
