Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem
(click image to see larger version)

I took a life-changing trip to Israel to study Jesus' life and ministry. This quilt took 22 months to complete by needle-turn appliqué. It represents an artichitectural composite of the City of Jerusalem, depicting those special places that meant the most to me. This is 100% designed by me.

Floral Breeze

This pattern is by Cynthia Tomaszewski, and was on the front cover of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine in August 2007, issue #87. The fabrics are 1930's, and mostly from Mom's stash. She loved the quilt on the magazine, and I loved it when I saw it. The texture effect of trapunto cording is by Penny. This was a fun mother and daughter project.

Early Spring Smiling

Becky Goldsmith and LInda Jenkins' book, Learn to Appliqué the Piece O' Cake Way, is a fabulous book for those who wish to learn the art of hand appliqué. Hand appliqué has always intrigued me. Those itty-bitty stitches...how do they do it? Their carefully written instructions and illustrations, made the process painless. After completing this quilt I know I can hand appliqué almost anything.
