Dreams Fulfilled
(click image to see larger version)

I made the Dresden blocks in 1933 when I was 19 years old. The fabrics are from dresses, aprons and pajamas. I hoped some day to have them put in a quilt. My freind Gail Maffei and Barbara Cersa acheived that dream when they pieced and quilted it in 2007.

Opportunity Quilt Winner!

This year's Opportunity Quilt was won by Lisa Stine, the harpist from Nevada City who gives free lessons to cancer patients and their families and works with music, especially Celtic, with kids. A fitting home for the "Rhapsody". Nancyan sold her the tickets and is one of her students. She will deliver the quilt or already has.
